Price History — Last 6 Months

Fuel prices in Sri Lanka are revised periodically by CPC and Lanka IOC based on global oil markets and the USD/LKR exchange rate. After a period of high volatility in 2022–2024, prices have stabilised somewhat — but quarterly revisions remain common. 92 Octane petrol dropped from a high of LKR 338 in mid-2025 to LKR 317 by March 2026 as global oil prices eased.

Our eco-driving tips page → walks through the most impactful habits for Sri Lankan roads: smooth acceleration in Colombo traffic, tyre pressure checks for both city and highway driving, and engine idle management. Combined with the weekly quota system, small changes can effectively give you an extra litre or two per week.
